Border Crossing Transfers

Canada–US crossings with drivers who understand border procedures, document requirements, and how to time arrivals to avoid peak queues.

Border crossings require more than a driver

A Canada–US border crossing in a private vehicle involves CBSA and CBP officers, documentation checks, and occasional secondary inspections. Our drivers know what officers typically ask, what to have ready in the vehicle, and which lanes are best for private passenger transfer clients.

We also monitor real-time wait times at each crossing and can advise on departure timing to avoid the longest queues — particularly on Friday afternoons and long weekends.

Passengers are responsible for

  • Valid passport or NEXUS card (no exceptions)
  • Any applicable US or Canadian visas
  • Declaration of goods if carrying items over duty-free limits
  • Accurate information when questioned by border officers

Major Canada–US entry points

Peace Bridge — Fort Erie / Buffalo
Ontario → New York State

One of the busiest crossings in Canada. Connects Niagara region to the Buffalo-Niagara metro. We know the optimal lane approach and timing windows.

Ambassador Bridge — Windsor / Detroit
Ontario → Michigan

The busiest commercial crossing in North America. For passenger vehicles, we time arrivals to avoid the industrial rush and navigate Tunnel vs. Bridge options.

Queenston-Lewiston Bridge
Ontario → New York State

A quieter alternative to Peace Bridge — often faster during peak periods. Connects to the Niagara Falls area on both sides.

Douglas / Blaine — Pacific Highway
British Columbia → Washington State

Gateway between Vancouver and Seattle. Two crossing points — we choose based on your destination and current wait times.

Lacolle / Champlain
Québec → New York State / Vermont

Connects Montréal with northern New York and Burlington, Vermont. We serve both the Autoroute 15 and Route 133 crossings.

Emerson / Pembina
Manitoba → North Dakota

Primary southern Manitoba crossing. Serves travellers between Winnipeg and the upper Midwest. Less congested with predictable crossing times.
